Explore LA’s downtown art scene at this month’s Downtown Art Walk, a self-guided tour of commercial & non-profit art galleries and museums.
Participants include the Museum of Neon Art, Bert Green Fine Art, MOCA and many more. A free Art Walk shuttle, hosted by local historians Mike the Poet and Esotouric’s Richard Schave, will loop around Gallery Row throughout the night.
Visitors are encouraged to arrive by public transit, as the Art Walk is easily accessible by the Metro Red, Gold, and Blue line trains, which run past midnight. There are also paid parking lots as well as metered street parking.

String Theory, the LA collective of dancers and musicians will kick off the Craft and Folk Art Museum’s Summer Season with an original, site-specific outdoor concert. The innovative and multi-media group will marry music, movement and sculptural long-string instruments to create a visual soundtrack.
