ANNUAL PEAK OF SUMMER                     TOMATO FESTIVAL

Speckling the Hollywood Farmer’s Market with pink, orange, yellow and purple hues, the over thirty varieties of local tomatoes will be celebrated at the Annual Peak of Summer Tomato Festival. Haven’t tried a Cherokee, Pineapple, Great White, Early Girl or Green Zebra tomato before? Stop by for a sample, learn how to sun dry tomatoes, watch cooking demos, pick up free tomato recipes, have Amy Goldman sign her new book “The Heirloom Tomato: From Garden to Table” and taste some of Chef E’s heirloom tomato juices.

9am-12noon: Free samples of 30+ tomato varieties and tomato sun drying tips
10am-12noon: Chef E prepares heirloom tomato juices
11am-1pm: Cooking demos
