Georgia O’Keeffe and the female Modernists who paved the way for her each had their hand in redefining the nature of the feminine in early 20th c. art. Their bold, colorful and mystical works are part of the 80-piece exhibit, “Georgia O’Keeffe and the Women of the Stieglitz Circle,” which includes rarely seen abstract landscape paintings by O’Keeffe and portraits of her by photographer Alfred Stieglitz.
