In a retelling of Charlotte Bronte’s “Jane Eyre,” legendary horror producer Val Lewton teams up with Jacques Tourneur (“Cat People”) in the 1943 film “I Walked with a Zombie.” A Canadian nurse is hired to take care of the lifeless wife of a plantation owner.
