A ten minute tracking shot of a traffic jam, radical cannibals and random philosophers are all part of the journey for a morally bankrupt Parisian couple on a countryside drive. Come enjoy Jean-Luc Godard’s 1967 dark comedy, “Week End,” under the stars at eighteen-thirty’s first rooftop screening of the season.
The Echo Park art space, eighteen-thirty, will feature rooftop films every Wednesday through August 27th. Featured films will include “Fists in the Pocket,” “Citi of God,” “Gozu,” “Flaming Creatures” and “Persona.”
