STENCILS BY GREG DAVILA & WATERWORLD AT ECHO CURIO

Echo Curio, the Echo Park art space dedicated to showing “outsider/fringe and freak culture to local community-based historical exhibitions,” celebrates its opening night for two exhibits, “Stencils by Greg Davila” and “Waterworld.”

The young new artist, Greg Davila presents pop culture inspired stencil artwork that is executed with a mix of clean precise lines and hazy fields of thick paint. All of Davila’s works are for sale.

“Waterworld” is the community’s melting pot of art inspired by the sea, rivers, beaches and the like. Drop off your own creation on June 3rd, be it a hand painted boogie board, shell necklace or mermaid sculpture. All works along the lines of the theme will be accepted but everything must be for sale and ready to hang.
