VALLEY GIRL AND REAL GENIUS DOUBLE FEATURE

“She’s cool. He’s hot. She’s from the Valley. He’s not.” Filled with lessons about not judging a book by its cover, liking a boy from the wrong side of the tracks, the taste of Clorox and how to look hot in the Valley in 1983, “Valley Girl” is a sweet-natured teen comedy time capsule. With appearances by punk rocker Nicholas Cage and the perky Deborah Foreman, the script was written in a remarkable 10 days.

In a double feature with “Real Genius” (1983) director Martha Coolidge will discuss her work on both projects between the films.
