Kristin’s List is about being in motion in LA. Every day I listen to a new album because I want to stay open to what the world can sound like. Exploring LA is similar. I can hear the city as a predictable soundtrack or choose to engage with its original, strange and refreshing noises.
When you read Kristin’s List you are part of my investigation of the city’s infinite possibilities for new ‘sounds.’ Whether it involves fine art, music, design, food, architecture, film, nature, politics, theater, fashion or literature, there is a constant hum of activity in LA to tap into.
Using my intuition, curiosity and diverse background (photography, fashion, academics and politics), I choose a handful of events to highlight each week on my website, all of which I would go to myself. There are no sponsors or loyalties to particular causes, rather Kristin’s List is an independent voice with an ear tuned to LA.
